Frequently asked questions

Good to know

For how many guests will you prepare a communion party?+

We match the hall to the number of guests - from intimate gatherings to larger family parties. We choose the layout during a conversation, for your list.

Is there a separate menu and space for children?+

Yes - we have a proven kids' menu, and right by the hall a playground and mini zoo, where children spend time between lunch and cake.

When should I book a communion date near Leszno?+

May Sundays book up as much as a year ahead - the sooner you confirm the date, the wider the choice of time.

How early should I book a communion date near Leszno?+

Best 6–12 months before the celebration - May Sundays go the fastest, and with early booking the choice of times is greatest.

Will you prepare a kids' menu at the communion party?+

Yes - alongside the main menu we serve proven dishes for the youngest, and we account for diets and allergies when settling the menu.

Can we order a communion cake from you?+

Yes - the cake and sweet table are prepared by our own patisserie; the design and flavour are settled individually.

How long does a communion party at Toscania last?+

Usually from lunch to early evening - we adapt the course to the family, without rigidly counting the minutes.

Will guests get here easily from outside Włoszakowice?+

Yes - we're about 20–25 minutes from Leszno, on convenient routes from all of Greater Poland, with a large free car park on site.

What do children do after the communion lunch?+

Right by the restaurant a playground and mini zoo await - children have something to do in the open air while the adults celebrate in peace.

Can part of the party take place in the garden?+

In good weather we hold the aperitif, photos and children's games in the garden, and serve lunch in the air-conditioned hall.

A communion party near Leszno is one of the most important days of the year for a family - at Restaurant and Hotel Toscania in Włoszakowice we organise communions so the child feels special and the parents can rest from the logistics. Stylish halls, a communion menu matched to the tastes of children and adults and on-site attractions make the celebration run calmly and in a family atmosphere.

The greatest asset is the full set of facilities under one roof: the hall, our own kitchen, a garden, a playground and mini zoo, and if needed accommodation for guests from afar. Communion dates in May and June cluster on particular weekends, so it's worth booking in advance. Ask about an available date - call or write, and we'll prepare a proposal for the menu and setting.

A communion menu for children and adults. We compose the menu to suit the tastes of both groups of guests - a classic broth and proven main courses for adults, and the youngest guests' favourite dishes that they'll actually eat. We account for diets, vegetarian and gluten-free variants, and prepare desserts and the cake in our own patisserie. Together we settle the number of courses, drinks and the sweet table, so the party is filling but not overloaded. Thanks to our own kitchen, dishes come out fresh and hot, with no outside catering, and the staff ensure smooth service throughout the celebration.

Attractions for children on site. A communion is above all a celebration of the child and their peers, so attractions matter a great deal. On the grounds there are a playground and mini zoo, and the garden gives space for free play in the open air. This way children don't get bored at the table and parents can enjoy the gathering in peace. This works especially well at longer parties - the youngest have their own world a few steps from the hall, under their parents' eye, without the need to arrange a separate entertainer or additional, costly attractions brought in from outside.

A hall matched to the number of guests. Depending on the size of the party we suggest the intimate Moonlight Hall or the larger ballroom. Smaller, family communions look best in a cosy interior where guests sit close together, while larger gatherings gain space and freedom. We match the table layout to the number of guests and the character of the celebration, ensuring the comfort of both adults and children. During the tour we'll show both halls and help you choose the right one, so the space is neither too cramped nor too empty for your group.

Decorations and setting. A subtle, coherent setting underlines the character of a communion celebration without excess. Delicate floral arrangements, a muted palette and a keepsake photo corner are enough to make the party look elegant and natural. We'll gladly advise on choosing decorations and work with trusted florists from around Leszno. We make sure the hall arrangement harmonises with the interior and looks good in the photos the family keeps for years. We settle all the details in advance, so nothing has to be finalised at the last minute on the day of the party.

Dates - book in advance. The communion season is mainly May and June, and parties cluster on particular weekends right after the church ceremonies. This means the best dates go first, often several months ahead. If a particular date matters to you, it's worth booking the hall suitably early, ideally right after learning the communion date at the parish. The sooner we set the date, the more calmly we plan the menu, setting and any accommodation. We encourage you not to leave the booking to the last minute, especially for larger family parties.

Accommodation for guests from afar. If part of the family comes from other cities, 24 rooms above the halls let them stay comfortably on site. Guests don't have to return the same day, and in the morning they meet for breakfast - the day can be gently extended with a shared walk in the garden. This is a big convenience for family celebrations that draw loved ones from various places. We help plan the rooms around the guest list, so grandparents and families with children are closest to the hall and most comfortable. Free parking at the property further eases the organisation of arrivals.

Access and booking. Włoszakowice is about 20-25 minutes from Leszno, amid the greenery of the Przemęt Landscape Park, with a large free car park right by the property. The quiet, out-of-town location fosters a family atmosphere and is convenient for guests from all around. We begin a communion booking with contact and settling the date, then together we refine the menu, hall and setting. Call or write with the planned date and number of guests, and we'll prepare a proposal matched to your expectations and a preliminary quote for the communion party.
